A land that never wasted a word
Our groves stand above the plain the ancients called Lakonia — a hard, dry, exacting place. It gave the world a word: laconic. Say little. Mean it entirely.
Our oil keeps the same rule. One harvest, one region, one press. Nothing added, nothing explained twice.
Harvested once, by hand, in December
The olives are picked by hand by a single family producer we work with directly in Lakonia, then cold-pressed within hours of picking. Every batch is lab-tested before bottling — high in polyphenols, acidity under 0.8% — so what's on the label is what's in the oil.
Gold, London ITOC
Olyonis was awarded Gold at the London International Olive Oil Competition, judged in blind tasting against producers from across the Mediterranean.
Bottled in scarcity
Each 750ml bottle is finished with the Olyonis emblem — an olive wreath for a region that has pressed oil since long before it had a different name.
Right now, most of our first-run bottles are already spoken for — the current harvest is still being picked and pressed. New stock, along with dried Lakonian herbs to follow, arrives through December. Check back soon to be first in line.
